Firefighters have big hearts
Huy Firefighters Climb Mont Rose to Support Os’mose
Yes, they have big hearts, and they’re proving it once again. Several firefighters from the Hemeco emergency services are preparing for an extraordinary journey. In June, five or six of them (one is still undecided) will climb Mont Rose, accompanied by a firefighter from Chamonix, who is also a mountain guide. Why? Certainly for the challenge, but also to raise funds for the non-profit Os’mose, based in Esneux. This organization trains assistance dogs for people with mobility issues, those suffering from epilepsy, and children with autism.
Several media outlets are covering the story:

A Human and Solidarity-Based Adventure for Assistance Dogs
Four firefighters from Huy, led by Thomas Dony, are embarking on a climb of Mont Rose (4,634 meters) to raise funds for Os’mose. Their goal is to finance the training of assistance dogs, which costs around €24,000 per dog. Their efforts have already raised more than €40,000, covering the training costs of two dogs. This solidarity initiative highlights the Huy firefighters' dedication to social causes and Os’mose’s essential work.
