Maïka, Os’mose Assistance Dog, on the Set of "On n’est pas des pigeons"

Martin, who lives with type 1 diabetes, has found a precious ally in Maïka, his assistance dog trained by the non-profit Os’mose. With her exceptional sense of smell, Maïka detects Martin’s blood sugar fluctuations, helping him prevent potential crises. On February 25, 2024, they shared their story on the RTBF show On n’est pas des pigeons. Their testimony highlights the positive impact assistance dogs have on the daily lives of people with diabetes.
