Our Volunteers

Volunteers at Os'mose: a source of pride...

Lack of investment, reliability, perseverance... these are the observations made by many associations who find it difficult to find volunteers and, above all, to keep them over the long term.

But not at Os'mose!

Not only have some of our volunteers been with us since the association was founded, but they are also present at every event with a smile of their own, making them Os'mose's "trademark". After organizing an event, we regularly receive congratulations such as: "What a pleasure to take part in an Os'mose event, for the quality of its organization and for the warm welcome given by the volunteers every time."

Each volunteer has grown and evolved with the association, taking on an important role. Once the shyness of the early days had passed, several volunteers even took on positions of responsibility, key posts for the perfect organization of our events. They're in the thick of things, and the association's managers are happy to delegate many tasks to them.

But the volunteers are also the foster families. Without them, no dog could be trained. These people are involved in a project that is on a grand scale, but with an incredible human dimension: training a dog entirely for a person weakened by disability or illness, or for specific projects. If you'd like to find out more about the role of a foster family.

Last but not least, the volunteers are also the dog training center's instructors; they are out in the field for many hours in all weathers, driven by the sole desire to help dog owners become as sociable as possible. They never forget to be kind to both dog and owner.

Why do volunteers give so selflessly ?

Especially to see the lives of certain individuals change, like Marie's, thanks to the remarkable work of Looping.
